The Pocket PC Timetable is a complete system timetable displaying all non stop and direct flights as well as a connection builder. Additionally, selected routes can be Added to your Calendar. The Pocket PC Timetable is updated on a monthly basis and includes a 365 day schedule period.

The Pocket PC Timetable is compatible with Windows Pocket PC 2000 and later operating systems (using the Intel StrongARM and XScale processor family). The Pocket PC Timetable, which can vary in size depending on the time of year, is approximately a 1 megabyte download.

Download/Installation instructions for Pocket PC Timetable

  • Assure that you have installed and used ActiveSync on your PC (to synchronize data from your PC to your Pocket PC device).
  • Select Pocket PC Download from the Electronic Timetable download page and wait for the download dialogue box to load.
  • Select ´Run from Current Location´ option.
  • Wait for the application file to download
  • Follow the screen prompted software installation instructions.
  • If your Pocket PC is in its cradle the Pocket PC Timetable will be installed directly to your Pocket PC.
  • If your Pocket PC is not in its cradle, the Pocket PC Timetable will be installed with your next ActiveSync.

The Pocket PC is now installed on your Pocket PC and a program icon is in the Programs folder of your Pocket PC. Please tap the program icon on your Pocket PC to launch the Pocket PC Timetable.

If you have a Pocket PC 2003 operating system a ´Pocket PC 2003 Dialup Fix´ page will display. Please select OK. This fix enables offline browser schedule lookups in current devices.

Update/Installation instructions for Pocket PC Timetable

  • If you are using the Auto Update conduit, the Pocket PC application will be updated automatically (depending on your conduit settings). If you are using the conduit and are not receiving updates there maybe Firewall issues and a manual update process is required. Follow the steps below.
  • The Pocket PC Timetable is updated on a monthly basis.
  • Note: for some Pocket PC devices a ´soft boot´ may be required for optimized update. Press the recessed button on your PDA or select ´Softboot´ from the cover page of the Pocket PC Timetable.
  • Link to the Electronic Timetable Download page.
  • Select Pocket PC Timetable and wait for the download dialogue box to load.
  • Select ´Run from Current Location´ option to download and reinstall the Pocket PC Timetable with the current flight schedules.
  • Wait for the PocketPC.exe file to download.
  • Follow the screen prompted software installation instructions.
  • If your Pocket PC is in its cradle the Pocket PC Timetable will be installed directly to your Pocket PC.
  • If your Pocket PC is not in its cradle, the Pocket PC Timetable will be installed with your next ActiveSync.

How often is the Pocket PC Timetable updated?
The Pocket PC Timetable is updated by the first of each month.

What Pocket PC operating systems is the Pocket PC Timetable compatible with?
The Pocket PC Timetable is compatible with PDA´s using the Windows Pocket PC 2000/02/03 Operating System (using the Intel StrongARM and XScale processor family).

When I update the Pocket PC Timetable a message appears saying the application is in use.
Please softboot your Pocket PC device by pressing the recessed button on your PDA or select ´Softboot´ from the cover page of the Pocket PC Timetable. Reconnect your device and re install.

When I try to look up flights with a PocketPC running Windows Mobile 2003, a message appears saying I must connect to the Internet.
A fix necessary to run the application on Windows Mobile 2003 must be executed on your Pocket PC. Then, please select " Démarrer / Programmes / Explorateur / Mon appareil / Program Files / Timetable / DialogQuery.exe ".
Please tap ‘OK´ in DialogQuery to implement the ‘fix´ that will enable lookups. That´s a one time activity.

Notice (intended for IT aware people) :
This fix will disable the local loopback device ‘LOCALHOST´ from dialing the Internet when applications attempt to use the TCP/IP stack to connect the local device.
This change should not have a negative impact on any normal device activity. Any attempt to connect to an external address will behave as normal.
This fix was developed at the direction of Microsoft Technical Support Services, and makes the Pocket PC device behave as a consistent manner with the Pocket PC 2002.

My Pocket PC is running with Windows Mobile 5 et when I try to lookup flights, no result is displayed.
At this day, the application is not compliant with Windows Mobile 5.
