Certain countries impose restrictions on the liquids, creams, aerosols, gels, etc. that you may transport on board. Air France recommends that you place as many of your liquids as possible in your checked baggage.
How should you transport liquids in the cabin?
If you are traveling to or connecting in one of the 27 countries of the European Union or one of
fifty other countries, you can transport liquids in your hand baggage as long as they are:
in small quantities (100 ml max. per product),
placed in a resealable, clear plastic bag (freezer bag) of a maximum volume of 1 liter. You must seal the bag and all items must fit easily inside. A single plastic bag is permitted per passenger.
Liquids accepted without restrictions
You can bring the following liquids with you:
medical substances necessary for your health – please note: airport security agents may ask you to verify the substance (possibly by tasting),
specific nutritional substances without which you cannot travel (for lactose intolerance, gluten allergies, etc.),
baby food,
medicines prescribed by a doctor, accompanied by an official document proving their necessity (prescription, medical certificate in your name, etc.).
