Cow Hollow, the chic of a former factory

In the heart of Manchester, Cow Hollow settled in a former Victorian textile factory and blends glamour with industrial style.

Proudly exposing its red bricks typical of the city, this relic of Manchester's glorious workingman history hasn't welcomed a textile worker for a long time. Instead, the building now offers travellers to stay in one of the 16 bedrooms of the Cow Hollow boutique hotel. As you set foot in, owners Mui and Amelia Rana welcome you with their usual kindness and friendliness. The couple answers the tiniest of requests, including on WhatsApp. Named after a trendy San Francisco neighbourhood, the establishment reveals a glamourous look and luxurious elements, such as marble finishes, candelabra and vintage mirrors, whilst retaining the original feel of the location. The industrial theme can be traced in the work of local artists covering the walls, the copper hues of the staircase and even the king size beds, hand-crafted with railway ties. Cow Hollow's unique charm is appreciated from the morning onwards, with a free room-service breakfast basket that includes some granola. The ideal way to start the day before venturing out.
