A cocoon of tranquillity above Singapore

Welcome to Spago, on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands, one of the most emblematic towers in Singapore. In front of you is the incredible infinity pool which appears to be suspended over the modern city. In an elegant atmosphere created by subdued lighting and clean-lined furniture, sample the cuisine of the Michelin starred chef Wolfgang Puck. On the menu: cones of tuna tartare spiced with wasabi, miso soup with honey and cod and many other culinary gems.

After your meal, take a seat on the terrace in front of the pool and enjoy, in moderation, a glass of “Thai Roulette”, a cocktail with a tea-infused rum base flavoured with cinnamon and coconut sugar. In front of you, the skyscrapers twinkle gently while the sounds of the city can be heard in the distance.

Head for the Michelin stars in Bangkok

You will be charmed by the exceptional view of the capital at Mezzaluna, the highest and most elegant restaurant in Bangkok. The large 180° picture windows give you the feeling of having boarded a vessel flying over the vast city. While the wide avenues seem to stretch to the horizon, you can sample the cuisine of the chef Ryuki Kawasaki who has been awarded two stars in the Michelin guide. The master deliciously combines French gastronomy with the Japanese flavours of his childhood. Your taste buds will be blown away by the starter of delicately sweetened prawns with cucumber. The flagship course of the meal will seal the deal: an A5 Kobe beef medallion, grilled over charcoal, and accompanied by smoked eel seasoned with horseradish and watercress. A must taste!

Fusion cuisine in the heights of the City of London

Right in the heart of London, Brazilian, Peruvian and Japanese traditions all come together at Heron Tower. Take the glass lift and gaze at the amazing view over the City of London. The silhouettes of boldly-shaped buildings such as the aptly named Gherkin rise up in the background. As you arrive on the 38th floor, the doors open. There you are at Sushisamba, the temple of fusion cuisine in London. The indoor area is a sight to behold, with numerous tree sculptures and a bamboo ceiling. Once settled on the terrace looking over the River Thames, you can sample a wide variety of skilfully prepared dishes, combining the cuisines of the Orient with those of Latin America: lamb chops with coconut, yellowtail flounder taquitos with avocado miso and grilled sweetcorn… A real explosion of world flavours.

Amazing flavours in the heights of Los Angeles

Perched on the rooftop of the highest skyscraper in Los Angeles, 71Above has established a solid reputation as a foodie hangout. There you can discover the sensational cuisine of chef Vartan Abgaryan who skilfully mixes flavours: caviar and tarragon, goat cheese and caramelised onions, and pan-fried octopus with Korean chili pepper. Succumb to the foie gras with blueberries, macadamia nuts and pink pepper. You will be blown away by the taste!

To finish, sip, in moderation, one of the cocktails named after many of the city's neighbourhoods (Hollywood, Westlake, Avalon…), while admiring the evening lights of the city of angels as far as the eye can see. Way below, the minuscule cars create trails of white with their headlights.

A cosy atmosphere overlooking Moscow

During your stay in Moscow, a visit to the White Rabbit is a must. On a top floor in the iconic Smolenskaya Square is an immense glass dome from where you can admire the vastness of the Russian capital, in particular the lofty Ministry of Foreign Affairs tower and the steeples of numerous churches rising above the Moscow rooftops. Inside, this unusual and quirky restaurant offers a local cuisine with an imaginative twist. You will love the veal tongue in a cherry and morel sauce, the boar cutlets with a gooseberry and roasted crayfish sauce, and Murmansk cod with sea asparagus. There, the extravagance extends to the decor which bears an uncanny resemblance to the world of Alice in Wonderland. At the end of your meal, make your way to the attached gastro bar to watch high-quality cocktails being prepared by the renowned barman: Oleg Reshetnyakov.

Pop-style decor in the skies of Paris

You can expect an exceptional meal at the Kong restaurant, based at the top of a Haussman building. Wind between the tables with their friendly pop-style decor to find your seat. Are you sitting comfortably? Take the time to admire the sensational view. The large rounded picture windows which appear to belong to a large vessel look out over the rooftops of Paris. In front of you the Pont Neuf bridge stretches out like a sword piercing the tip of the Île de la Cité, while the silhouette of the Montparnasse Tower stands out against the horizon. As an adventurous food lover, you might opt for the udon noodles with girolle mushrooms, or perhaps you will succumb to the supreme of chicken with ginger. The chef loves to merge Japanese flavours with French gastronomy. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious cocktail, in moderation of course, while the City of Lights puts on its evening finery.
