This imposing building dates from 1839 and is listed as a national monument. Its historic character is fully preserved, but it is now a very comfortable hotel, blending past and modern styles. The predominantly green lobby is truly grandiose. Don't be put off by the endless corridors: the hotel is installed in four connected buildings.
The rooms are very spacious, and they are decorated with a pleasing mix of styles, colours, and materials. The bathrooms are also very large, and the tiger and zebra bathrobes are a serious plus. The American-style brasserie is a foodie favourite.
