Mimiu: the benchmark for ‘sukiyaki udon'

Mimiu: the benchmark for ‘sukiyaki udon'

Since the late 1920s, Mimiu, renowned for its famous ‘udon' (broad noodles), has been delighting its guests!

Mimiu welcomes you in a charming traditional two-storey house surrounded by greenery. With its wooden decor and friendly service, you will enjoy the house speciality: the udon sukiyaki. This hot ‘sweet and sour' dish is a typical Japanese preparation. You will find udon, of course—the thick noodles that are consumed very broadly in the archipelago—plus thinly sliced beef, onion, shiitake (black mushroom), and an absolutely exquisite combination of sake, soy sauce, and sugar, all mixed with egg yolk.

Instead of beef, the dish can also be served with fish or shellfish. And in either case, you do not lose on the exchange. Indeed, at Mimiu, the custom is to work exclusively with seasonal ingredients to better enhance your dish. In this city in perpetual motion, it is in the quiet here in the heart of the Chūō district that you will come to enjoy a peaceful moment around a lunch or a dinner with friends.
