Air France has been working in close collaboration with the national and international health authorities (WHO, CDC, French Health Department) since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China.


Flight schedule to Wuhan airport

To this date, all our flights to and from Wuhan (WUH) are cancelled until 29 February 2020.
If you are concerned by these cancellations, you will be informed personally, by SMS or e-mail. Please make sure your personal contact details (mobile telephone, e-mail address) are up-to-date in the "Your reservations" section of our website or in the mobile app. The status of your flight is updated in real time on our website or mobile app, in the section "Flight & Airport Info".
If you wish to request a refund, commercial measures are available for you. You can find them in details in the section below "How do I apply for a refund form my journey?"


Flight schedule to other airports in China

At this stage, services to Shanghai and Beijing are maintained. Nevertheless due to the decrease in demand to these destinations, we adjust our flight schedule and will operate one daily flight to Shanghai and Beijing as from 31 January, 2020.
If you are concerned by these cancellations, you will be informed personally, by SMS or e-mail. Please make sure your personal contact details (mobile telephone, e-mail address) are up-to-date in the "Your reservations" section of our website or in the mobile app. The status of your flight is updated in real time on our website or mobile app, in the section "Flight & Airport Info".
In addition, we offer you rebooking options, if you wish to cancel at no extra cost or postpone your trip. You can find details of our commercial measures in 'Can I modify my trip?'


Cancellation of group passengers to and from China

Chinese authorities have also requested to suspend the sale and the trip of all touristic group passengers as from January 28, 2020. Therefore, customers booked as a group to and from China until February 29, 2020 have the possibility to rebook or refund their travel, free of charge. You can find all details of the commercial options in the section below "How do I apply for a refund form my journey?"

In the meantime, we would like to assure you that our teams are monitoring the situation in real time and that the health and safety of our customers and staff are our absolute priorities.

If you have a valid Air France ticket, issued on or before January 23, 2020, for an Air France flight departing from or arriving in China between January 26 and February 29, 2020, you can postpone your trip at no extra cost onto a later flight until May 31, 2020 included. Reissue or refund must be completed  on or before 29 February 2020.

Save time by changing your booking directly online, in the "Your reservations" section of the website or in the mobile app. You can also contact your travel agent.
If you booked your ticket via a travel agency, you should contact your travel agent.
 
You may also choose to postpone your flight to after May 31, 2020 or cancel your trip. In this case, you will be entitled to a full refund. We invite you to contact your point of sale.
